- According to the Indiana Prevention Resource Center's 2000 survey, 18% of 8th graders, 29% of 10th graders, 37% of 12th graders in Vanderburgh and Warrick reported as binge drinkers.
- A need for resiliency skills among the youth, the ability to resist the pressure of alcohol
- Alcohol is a gateway drug
- There is a lack of prevention strategies implemented in our school corporation.
