The Substance Abuse Council offers mini
grants to organizations in the community that primarily focus on family
and community substance abuse. The grants are made available through
Countermeasure Fees that are assessed by the courts to all alcohol and
drug offenders in Vanderburgh County as part of their court cost. This fee can be from
$200 to $1000.
Pre-Applications are due September 7,
2007 and you only
need to mail, fax, or email one copy with a signature on it.
Grant Applications are only necessary
if your grant passes the pre-application stage. You will receive a letter after
September 14 from the Screening Committee letting you know whether you
need to submit a full Grant Application or not.
